Every volunteer that joins a Trade-Trip to Jamaica, not only gives of their time but they also pay their way Each volunteer fundraises and/or pays to volunteer and this along with many other reasons is why they are all rockstars. Our volunteers are the heartbeatTrade-Works and we are beyond grateful for them! .

Andrea Pezzillo

Andrea Pezzillo has spent several years researching and applying ways to help those in need. Through her travels abroad and service locally, 

In 2014 Andrea came to the realization that she could help others with her career path. Utilizing her passion and the work she has done as a celebrity hairdresser, she is now sharing those skills with underserved humans around the world.  Andrea wanted to bridge this way of giving back with the creative world; Thus bringing forth Trade-Works Foundation.

Julie Kandalec

From the young age of 12, Julie Kandalec knew her future was in nails. "When I grow up, I want to be a manicurist," she wrote in English class. Finishing beauty school at the top of her class at 17 was just the beginning of a prosperous career.

To Julie, nail care is far beyond just polish. Always the artist, she is also trained in painting, drawing, color, and dance. Known for her gentle touch, calm demeanor, and precise attention to detail, Julie's specialties vary from a clean, natural nail to elaborate, custom-designed nails. Julie's work can now be seen in major publications, beauty campaigns, and regularly on the fingertips of Camila Cabello, Jessica Chastain, Joe Jonas, and more.

Star Dawn

Star-Dawn’s passion for people can be seen through the way she leads. She has been a teaching artist behind the chair since 2006 and is currently a barber educator for Paul Mitchell The School.


Star-Dawn has also had a career in the fashion industry as a makeup artist & hairstylist. She said “I love what I do and I am inspired by the creativity and brilliance of those around me and am blessed to translate talent through beauty & education.”

Sirak

After 17 years serving in the Army, Sirak wanted a fresh challenge and enrolled into barbering school. Ever since, Sirak has committed a huge amount of time and effort into barbering, even winning Britain’s Best Apprentice award! Currently working at Ruffians, one of Britain’s premier barbershops!
